我投诉到美国交通部，国航回复一分钱也不补偿

我买的国航从纽约到成都的往返票，返程时因为国航去纽约的航班取消，于是把我送到
洛杉矶。洛杉矶到纽约的旅费由我自己支付。

这导致我在洛杉矶机场滞留了四天，还被迫扔掉一件行李，自己买票回到纽约市。

为什么假设我一定自己有钱支付从洛杉矶到纽约的旅费？如果我没钱，岂不是在洛杉矶
机场成了难民了。

国航今天1/28给我的电子邮件回复:

Dear passenger,
We were recently notified by USDOT about the complaint you filed regarding
reimburse your cost from LAX to JFK.
First and foremost, please accept our apology on behalf of Air China for the
inconvenience you have described.
By checking in our system, your inbound segment from CTU(Chengdu,China) to
LAX(Los Angeles, US) on November 8th 2020 was used already. I totally
understand your original routing was from CTU to JFK, however, Air China
cancelled the flights from PEK to JFK due to Chinese government's policy,
Civil Aviation Administration of China's policy and COVID-19 pandemic. Due
to this situation, we could not be able to provide any reimbursement of LAX-
JFK this segment.
We apologize for this inconvenience.
